Born in London, UK, Dr. Patel moved to Alberta at the age of 2. Having grown up in Medicine Hat, Dr. Patel enjoys being in the outdoors. Aside from dentistry, he’s passionate about hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, and hockey. Ask him about movies, DIY projects, and throwing backyard BBQ’s. Born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Brandelli graduated from the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) dental program at the University of Alberta School of Dentistry and then went on to complete his residency at the University of Alberta Hospital.
During his dental education, Dr. Brandelli published multiple scientific articles in the fields of orthodontics and radiology. He went on to work in southern Alberta for a few years before returning home to Calgary and joining Outdoor Dental.
A continuing education fanatic, Dr. Brandelli enjoys keeping up to date with the latest advances in the dental field. This, along with a comprehensive, individualized treatment approach ensures that patients are well taken care of.
In his free time Dr. Brandelli can be found wall climbing, cooking cuisines from around the globe, gardening or restoring vintage furniture.
Carolyn recently moved to Calgary from BC where she spent 20 years in the dental field. Carolyn has worn many hats including being a Certified Dental Assistant. Her clinical and administrative experience help her make our patient's experience as smooth as possible. Carolyn values building relationships with each patient that comes into Outdoor Dental and is happy to help with any questions you have.
Outside of work Carolyn enjoys spending time with her daughter and loves outdoor activities, especially Kayaking!

Emily was born in Alberta and has called Calgary home for most of her life. She graduated from M. Dent College with a certificate in Dental Administration. Her favourite part of her job is seeing children come in and thrive from the care they receive, and developing a positive relationship with the dentist and their team.
When Emily is not working, she enjoys driving through the mountains. Emily has a mini dachshund (Dixie) who loves long walks and meeting new people.

Ashley has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2007 and has enjoyed her career since she started. Ashley wears many hats in the office but can be found working with Dr. Patel. In her free time she enjoys traveling, working out and spending time with her family.

Juliana joined the Outdoor Dental Team in Oct 2017. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist & attended the University of Alberta graduating with honors in 1993. She is also an instructor at SAIT specializing in Preventative Dentistry. Juliana is licensed in local anesthesia and has extensive experience in periodontics. Outside the office, Juliana enjoys gardening & spending time with her family in the Okanagan camping.

Katrina graduated from Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in Toronto in 2007. Since then she has loved working with clients of all ages and backgrounds helping them learn how to care for their smiles. She especially likes to help young kids who are having their first visits to the dental office have a great experience. When she’s not at work she loves to stay active with skiing in the Rockies, and hiking and biking in the summers.
What she loves about Calgary: Spending a day on our amazing pathways followed up with exploring a new restaurant!
Akis moved to Canada on Canada Day, 2014 from India where he did his Bachelors in Dental Surgery. After the move, he attended Confederation College in Thunder Bay, ON where he graduated with honours from the Dental Hygiene program in 2016.
After graduating, he spent some time in Manitoba and then made his way further west towards Calgary. Outside of work he enjoys music, driving, hiking, biking, and BBQing with friends. And yes, it was the beautiful Rockies that made him move out here!

Deidra graduated as a Registered Dental Assistant from CDI college in 2020. She loves how every day is different in the dental field and loves the technology at Outdoor Dental. When Diedra is not at work she enjoys 4 wheeling and camping and spending time outdoors with her family.
What she loves about Calgary: I love all the hidden gems you can find in Alberta/Calgary when it comes to camping spots and 4 wheeling trails.
Kiran is the newest member of the Outdoor Dental Team joining us in May 2019. She is a Registered Dental Assistant and graduated with honors from Columbia College in 2015.
Kiran works alongside Dr. Patel and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Kiran is compassionate, friendly and enjoys interreacting with her patients.
Outside of the office Kiran enjoys travelling, working out and hiking.
