Outdoor dental is teaming up with AgeCare Seton and AgeCare Skypointe to provide dental hygiene care for residents. Maintaining good oral hygiene as you get older, is one of the healthiest things you can do for your body. To help maintain healthy, white smiles for AgeCare residents we will offer dental cleanings at our dental clinic in the west wing of AgeCare Seton and at AgeCare Skypointe.
Arthritis and medications used for various illnesses can make it harder to brush and floss. This can lead to changes in the mouth such as dry mouth, gum disease, tooth loss, and root decay. Challenges like restricted mobility, financial constraints, and cognitive impairments may also affect seniors.
As a result, dental care for seniors needs to look a bit different than oral care for any other age.
Our dental hygienist Calgary SE will remove any tartar that can cause gum disease and will finish off your cleaning with a polish & fluoride treatment, leaving your teeth feeling smooth.
Good oral hygiene paired with regular dental hygiene care can help to prevent more serious health problems. Together with our dental hygienist Calgary SE and Dr. Jay Patel, you can plan a daily oral care routine that will keep your teeth, and you, healthy for life.
